How to choose a long Chinese dress
The cheongsam especially long Chinese dress displays strong national flavor and embodies the beauty of Chinese traditional costumes . Chinese dress not only represents the Chinese female costume but also has become a symbol of a traditional oriental costume.
The cheongsam can either be long or short, woolen or made of silk floss. Some ladies’ silk clothing may be gently washed by hand. It’s the biggest fashion show of the season .
But for those whose arms are fuller, three-quarter sleeve cheongsams are much better. Also, if your customer’s shoulders are quite small, long sleeves are definitely not suitable for her.
But anyone never ignore the important part sleeves play in a cheongsam as they may significantly affect the whole looking of a cheongsam wearer. Sleeveless long length Chinese dresses are perfect for showing off slender elegant arms.
Also , when choosing best Chinese dress , you should decide which collar type according your own neck length .
If you belong to those women with long thin neck then in high-collar cheongsam will looks great, but women with short neck should go for a lower collar to make the neck look longer.
Actually I despite know several knowledge about chosing Chinese dress . But I have no ideal about Chinese dress’s history . Ok I must do some remedy work . The cheongsam, or Qipao in Chinese, evolved from a style of ancient clothing worn by the Manchu ethnic minority.
During the early years of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) they unified China, and standardized the nationwide costume as well. At that time, men wore a long gown and a mandarin jacket over the gown, while women wore the cheongsam .
