Agree or disagree, wrestling as a sport itself shouldn’t be for kids?

I know that since its the PG era its more kid friendly so kids will wanna buy WWE Superstars’ merchandise & action figures & stuff so WWE makes more money, but wrestling itself shouldn’t be for kids. & even in the storylines when people get attacked(like the Nexus attacking WWE superstars) or getting into brawls, doesn’t that show SOME violence/isn’t that kinda like exposing kids to violence indirectly even though PG isn’t supposed to have any violence?

I definitely agree. I think it’s pretty obvious that if WWE could, they would be G, but they can’t because they encourage/promote violence and fighting. As long as it’s the main aspect (blatant pain inflicted on others) it can’t be G, but it shouldn’t be anyway. Fighting is something that mostly teens start liking, and older, because it gives us that illusion people are getting hurt in “OMG” moments.

Why does it need to be PG, but act like it’s G? SmackDown! was PG (DLV) in the early 2000′s, but it still had swearing, blood and extreme moments. Why wasn’t it TV-14? I have no idea, but I’m to guess it wasn’t controversial. RAW had all the moments such as kidnappings, forced weddings,beer baths, sexual storylines/jokes, etc. SD got straight to the point.

It should be a TV-14 (or higher) rated show.
